PROJECT SOLDIERS & SKINS

Operating Since 2009

Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
Galatians 6:2

PROJECT SOLDIERS & SKINS is a faith-based 501(c)3 that has supported and encouraged Wounded Warriors from our United States Military since 2009.

The project originally focused on collecting donated Washington Redskins Tickets – thus the name, Soldiers & Skins – for Wounded Warriors injured in Iraq and Afghanistan who were in treatment and recovery at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC.

Over time, the project has expanded to support Wounded Warriors and Veterans from other military installations in Virginia and Maryland, and to include donated event tickets of any type, year-around, as well as special annual events.

PROJECT SOLDIERS & SKINS is dedicated to LTC Timothy Karcher and his Family. Tim was commanding a battalion in Iraq when he lost both legs above the knee to a roadside bomb in June of 2009. I visited him at Walter Reed and was amazed by his courage, resiliency, hope, and sense of humor.

To all previous and current Supporters, Donors, Project Leaders, and Sponsors, thank you! This project would not be successful without your compassion and generosity.

God Bless You!
